Check Availability & BookHousing your wedding party or family block in one place, instead of splitting everyone across separate hotel rooms, is one of the most requested types of lodging for a Mt. Baker wedding weekend. We recommend properties with enough bedrooms and shared living space to keep the whole group together for the entire stay.
The property we currently feature for large groups is Evergreen Lodge, a twelve-bedroom retreat on forested acreage near Deming, Washington, built specifically for groups who want to stay together.
For a wedding weekend, that changes the shape of the whole event. The wedding party gets ready in the same house. Out-of-town family has a bed instead of a rental car and a hotel exit. The morning after belongs to everyone, in the same kitchen, because everyone is still there.
The Space
This is not a large cabin pretending to be a lodge. Evergreen Lodge is built across three levels, with multiple lounge areas, two separate dining spaces, a full kitchen sized for shared cooking, a pool table, and two independent laundry setups, so a group this size never has to take turns.
Each floor has its own purpose. Early risers can make coffee downstairs without waking the house. Kids and teens have their own lounge space. Everyone comes back together for dinner, games, or a quiet evening by the fire.

The lodge sits on acreage with a relaxed, park-like setting surrounded by towering evergreens. Covered and uncovered picnic areas, an outdoor BBQ, and a fire pit give a group room to spread out for meals, lawn games, and time outside. The Nooksack River is a short walk away, and Silver Lake Park is a short drive.
The Area
Evergreen Lodge sits in the Mt. Baker recreation corridor, with year-round access to the mountain. Winter brings skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing at Mt. Baker Ski Area; the warmer months open up hiking, mountain biking, rafting, fishing, and swimming across the North Cascades.
Why One Property Beats Splitting Up
Twelve bedrooms means the couple, the wedding party, and close family can stay together instead of splitting across separate properties. Two dining areas make a rehearsal dinner or a morning-after breakfast easy to host in the same house everyone is already staying in. The pool table and lounge spaces give a full weekend somewhere to gather after the ceremony ends.
Pets are welcome (two-pet maximum), WiFi is provided throughout, and the property is listed as suitable for events. Maximum occupancy is limited to the number of registered guests on the reservation.
