Micro Weddings and Elopements
Some of the most significant days in recorded human history involved very few witnesses.
The elopement has been mischaracterized for decades. As an escape, a shortcut, a thing you do when something goes wrong. In the mountains of the North Cascades, eloping is something else entirely. It is an act of radical intention. A decision to strip a wedding down to its essential purpose and let that purpose breathe.
The couples coming to us now have done the math on the traditional wedding and found it wanting. Not because they do not value their people. Because they do. Because they want fewer of them, closer, in a place that actually means something.
Nature's Cathedral
Micro Weddings in the Glacier Corridor
A micro wedding here is an intimate celebration with a guest list that typically ranges from ten to fifty people. The venues we work with in the Glacier corridor accommodate up to fifty guests for ceremony and reception. These spaces are designed for this number specifically. At fifty, you still know every person in the room and why they are there. The spaces are proportioned for genuine gathering rather than spectacle.
Ceremony can be arranged indoors or outdoors depending on the season and your vision. The Glacier corridor offers multiple natural settings for outdoor ceremonies, each with distinct light and landscape character. Small details in the right environment create meaningful experiences. That is the operating principle here.

Elopements
For couples who want the day to be entirely about the relationship rather than the event, we offer elopement experiences centered on the couple completely. Ceremony settings throughout the Glacier corridor and the wider Mt. Baker area provide the backdrop. Our lodging provides the retreat.
Artist Point, accessible at the end of the Mt. Baker Highway from roughly July through early October, offers panoramic views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan and is among the most sought-after elopement locations in Washington state. Picture Lake reflects Mt. Shuksan in images that have become iconic in Pacific Northwest photography. Heather Meadows provides alpine meadow settings above the tree line. All of these are part of the landscape we have been living and working in for years.
